Breaking the Cycle

Peacemakers and Friends,

With news of Osama Bin Laden's death, many people feel safer and that justice was served. I can understand that, and do not judge anyone for feeling this way. Yet, I cannot help but question... What is humanity's potential to break the cycle of extreme violence? What can we do to achieve this potential? And how do we set constructive examples for the world's children?…

Being Responsible For What We Put Out There

There is so much that we know now, about consciousness and energy, that requires us to step up and be responsible for our actions. Everything is energy. Energy is vibration. Thought is a measurable wave form. Our energy effects the energy of others. Positive energy waves are large, and cancel out shorter, smaller, negative energy waves. And yet it is hard to find anything but negativity in the media. Our brains process everything that we perceive - what we watch, listen to, and read. Why are…

Every Conflict, Fight, Riot, Crime, Shooting, Terrorist Act, War or Genocide is proceeded by the verbal incivility and repeated actions of demonizing others.

Which is why most media sites demand and retain the right to monitor content placed there... As they know full well that incivility leads to conflict which eventually will cause some to strike out in negative action.

For the link between violent media, hateful rhetoric and extreme acts of criminal violence is quite… Continue

Wearing Jewelry for healing and peace

As a person who has been in the "fine"jewelry industry for years I would never have thought about wearing much less making jewelry for healing. I also never really thought about its meaning. There are many symbols that different groups wear and people from every culture have used spiritual symbols to focus their energies, connect to the metaphysical world, and touch the divine. A symbol is simply an object, picture, word, sound or make that represents something else.In spirituality and…

The significant you

Recently, talking to my oncologist about the treatment she is prescribing for my breast and bone cancer, she inquired about my mental attitude and outlook on life in general. It was not too surprising as everyone has been encouraging me to “stay positive” in order to beat this new health challenge. This idea of outlook on life brings me to the subject of how significant does the average person think his or her life is? I am by no means a celebrity or “star”; never had my name in lights…
