Fear the Weapon of Mass Destruction/Control
Fear is a weapon used by people to control the masses or a individual. The one flaw in the method of control is the ability to overcome fear. So to retain control they have to invent new thing to be fearful of thus creating a perpetual cycle of fear.
Once they have you in a state of total fear you look to them for help and protection from the thing you fear, the thing that they have created. Now they have you like a puppet on a string dancing to there tune and not seeing what is really going on.
The cycle is a difficult one to brake but it is not impossible remember the only thing to fear is fear its self.

The way that prisons are portrayed in the media is a good example; in truth, a lot of good folk are locked up. OI have been afflicted with Chronic pain due to a messed up back surgery (one of six -- most fixing my spinal fusion... I have been on various pills for years... well,,at COOK COUNTY, it takes a weed to get your meds. As you can imagine, I was in bad shape... if not for other prisoners giving me pills (a felony), I would not have been able to sleep at all. Invariably, the cons I met were polite, good folk who either made a mistake, or were jailed unlawfully.... THOUGH, IN THE MOVIES AND TALK, JAIL IS ALWAYS MADE OUT TO BE FULL OF RAPISTS. The fear of being a victim of same sex rape stops a lot of people from taking on the law. I was in the third roughest jail in the country... I heard about gang problems in other cell blocks... and I was in what they called a 'medical ward,' where all kinds of criminals live. The only guard presence in the locked room was a half-ass bed check twice a day, leaving us alone to do what we wanted.

I know what you are saying and it works from grass roots level up to the beings that control earth.
Weapons of mass destruction that do not exist, terrorist attacks that were orchestrated by others (not terrorists) then they bring in laws that are supposed to protect us from the bad guys, what some of us fail to see is who the bad guys really are, the new 'laws' (ways of taking away our freedom) they are just to keep us under control. ID cards are the first step. Check out Project Camelot, just google their name.
John, I have a friend that has been to prison for a crime that he really did not commit, but he took it that he had got away with many crimes, and he felt at peace with 'doing time' for something he did not do. He could have not gone to prison if he was prepared to 'grass' on his mates, but he would not do that. There is more honor amongst 'criminals' than the justice system from my experience of the UK's way of obtaining justice.
