Book Review- Green Psychology by Metzner

Green Psychology by Metzner is another book that speaks about our relationship with the earth and how that affects how we treat the earth. He makes very good points on how even one who is fairly connected to the natural environment can improve their relationship. Its another I recommend. I've just read so many lately its difficult to keep which information came from where straight so please excuse the poor review.

Book Review- Microcosmos

I just finished the book Microcosmos by Margulis and Sagan. It was required for a class I was taking and I was initially very intimidated with the material as some of the scientific concepts arebeyond what I know about. However, our assignment with the book was to read it from a spiritual perspective and give our thoughts on it. It is an amazing book. It is very humbling to us as human's. Life will survive with or without us. It gives much to contemplate as we are humbled. I highly recommend… Continue

my weekend survival training

Below is all about the nothing survival course I took- at least the parts that are grabbing me to share. Feel free to ask me questions. I'll answer what I can.

There was 6 of us in the class and Cody (our guide/trainer). First of all the 6 of us composed a tribe for the weekend. We needed to work together and come to a consensus on the decisions made. (We actually all worked very well together and even when we didn't initially agree on what needed to be done, a consensus was reached… Continue

Book Review- My Name is Chellis and I'm in Recovery From Western Civilization

Book Review- "My Name is Chellis & I'm in Recovery From Western Civilization" by: Chellis Glendinning

This is another excellent book! Another book whose praises I can't sing enough. Chellis explores how through our disconnect we suffer some of the most horrid abuses that man has experienced on earth and explores how that is manifested in our ancestral lines as well. She emphasizes the importance of healing ourselves to heal the earth and how reconnected with the earth is an… Continue

What responsibility are you willing to take?

I'm just wondering how much you are willing to do to take responsibility for saving this planet. What if it literally means getting out of our "boxes" (houses, need for things... and to move back to a space where we can be in right relationship with nature?)

I'm wondering if enough people will ever take this seriously! Time to take action get out of our box and pay attention to the earth who is our mother! This is a beautiful… Continue

Book Review- A Handbook of a New Paradigm

I just finished reading a Handbook for a New Paradigm and found it an excellent read. It gives many ideas for shifting our consciousness and our experience here on earth, it also lead me to many deeper thoughts and awarenesses. It says that we must remember our personal responsibility perhaps with more focus on personal than responsible, that we need to honor free will and to remember the four basic laws of the universe: the law of attraction (this is not in a get rich (dollars) kind of way,… Continue

‎"Why should there be hunger and deprivation in any land, in any city, at any table, when man has the resources and the scientific know-how to provide all mankind with the basic necessities of life?"
