What does Oneness mean to You?
October 24th is now celebrated by many as Global Oneness Day. It's a way to spread the message that we and all life are One. Oneness has often been talked about by mystics of various faiths, philosophers, and scientists/quantum physicists of our time. I would love to know your thoughts about it :)

Oneness is a feeling of love that expresses the feeling of One. In my life I lack being in oness because there is no one to feel the oness with o rthe feeling of number One. I always encourage for oness in one any other, most importantly in a love one. I Dream for my oness to come true and hopefully it will. Thank you Yaron for the email. I do feel the oness spreading with you.

Oneness... for me is me myself integrated as the sole been in the Universe sharing with God Himself (and all His other Sons and Creations and Creatures) ... in peace.
I feel oneness while sleeping, and then I fly, I laugh, I cry... and live, twice as fast as the same I do awake.
God created, at His Image and Similarity, myself.
An honnour quite hard to be ... comprehended.
I'm unique in the Universe as myself.
Everybody is, but we don't see the world as ourselves.
We see the world as one to everybody else.
It is owned by each of us.
From this faith comes our rights: to live, to share, to fight.
Our fight is not, altough, to kill one another, but to feed, and care, one to each other.
Oneness, thinking that way.... feels like peace....... oneness is peace.
Of mind, with the complacence and participation, of the heart.

Oneness to me is like nothingness. It is the fact that there is really only One Being Here. I exist. "There is no one beside Me". Call it what we choose, at any given moment. It is Thee Moment. The one and only. Containing all perceptions... All moments :) Write poems about it to try and describe it. Sings songs. Make music. Write books. It is what it is. I am what I am. One is what what is. Beyond decription and yet fully present within all descriptions. Within all expression. Beyond all expression. It is Nothingness at one extreme and an infinate amount of multiplicities in its opposite extreme. Different perpsectives of the One and only 'Thing'. The no thing. The everything. It is the Law. Cause and effect at one end. Absolute detachment at the other. Without end. Without beginning. Impressions serve to inspire glimpses of that Eternal Self. This. The All and I am Nothing. One. Love. Happy happenings. Appreciation. Feeling. Love 'again'... for the first time ever :)

The "Oneness" of all of us and all creation is a spiritual and scientific fact that more of us need to become aware of in this temporary era of divisiveness and fear of perceived "differences" I agree with futurist, Barbara Marx Hubbard, that we are reaching the point of recognizing this and acting upon it to create a new paradigm where peace is truly possible.

For me, Oneness is the Deep Peace, that Silent Joy, that absolute Contentment I feel inside when I am align. When I am in that place I am at one with myself.
When you are in that place and when I am in that place, we are at one.
One need to feel that to know that beauty of Oneness.
It usually comes easier when we let go, when we are free from all ties and obligations, free of all distracting thoughts, when we carefreely gazed into the beautiful horizon at the ocean, when we are in deep meditation. It's Beauty beyond words.
Just merely thinking about it makes me feel so good.

Although my fragile body and limited conscious mind most often make me feel "separate", once in a while I feel the oneness of all creation that is constantly in a creative, evolving state, as The Creator expresses Itself as me, you, the plants,animals, fish, the world, the universe, all things seen and unseen in the timeless Now. I think those rare moments of bliss will be our constant experience when we leave our bodies and move on.

October 24 is also United Nations Day, the day that we selected for the Heart of Africa Campaign - the campaign that enlivens compassion in the creative city, through the education process of the following initiatives -the MDG´s, the UNGC, the Earth Charter, and most recently the ISO 26000 Standards.
when acknowledging the day to NOT remind ourselves of the ISO 26000 Standard and its intention is to fall short of the target. The ISO covers human intention with our spending habits and encourages us to support only corporations that intend to use the ISO 26000 for guidance.
