Dear Khalil,

It is a great pleasure for me, to extend to you my warmest official invitation as a poet or artist to read and perform your poetry or songs for peace at the First World Peace Poetry Festival Kenya 2009, which will be held from the 20th to 21st of September 2009 in Nairobi, Kenya at Hope Baptist Church auditorium.

I'm very happy to be with you and I want you to share your creativity for peace with all of us. The presence of each one of us is irreplaceable since nobody can substitute who and what we are individually, and in a group, we shall make our prayers through poetry and music that shine with the light that comes from within our spirit.

I welcome you to share the words that come from the intimacy of our souls, to look into each others eyes, to confirm our faith in peace and humanity defending it with the ink from our pen and our voices and to renew our unconditional vows for life. Open mic that will enrich us will be presented and with our poetry, dancing and singing we will come to the peace formation.

We will be in touch with you until we can all reunite forming a single heart that beats for the love in our Universe.

THEME: “Reconcile, Transform, Forgive & Reconnect”

Registration fee:$600 only

Welcome all and God bless you BIG!

Sincerely,
Walter Keyombe.

I hope this day brings you joy. Yes I would love to see your area as you would mine. As that is not possible, I thank you for your kind words about my Wildlife Sanctuary. I am now teaching a dance seminar to kids and constantly in varied ways tell them to be kind to each other, as that is what it is all about and to look at the beauty of nature all around us in this area and not take it for granted, we are all connected. Some parents don't get that and do not say it to the kids, so I feel I teach, I hope I teach more than only dance. I feel a good dancer can project to the audience compassion, in the movements and attitude. Your friend, Jill

Thank you, dear friend, I feel happy to realise how we are all interconnected and really ONE. I would like to know more about you and your Marocco as I have a great sence of responsibility for Africa! We had two African delegations taking part in our events here in Russia and I had a vision that one of the peace through culture centers should be created in Africa (as a part of a networld of such intreconnected youth villages)

Thanks very much! I look forward to dialoguing with the members about various educational concerns. I worked with students who have learning differences for many years. My expertise lie in Special Education. I taught elementary, middle and high school Special Education students in the San Francisco public schools. I understand the difficulties in attempting to close the achievement gap. I have lived through the complete failure of the "No Child Left behind Act" during the Bush administration and saw implementation with no funds and how that equaled zero. I have seen disenchanted teachers who are trying to teach unable to do so because of receiving no support and given class sizes that make it impossible to teach in a comprehensive, meaningful way. I have seen the nightmares of Superintendents ruling through fear and intimidation and failing miserably because morale became so low. I have hired teachers and principals only to have them quit within two years because of burn out and stress from not being able to raise testing scores and receiving zero support. All of this has added to the disintegration of the public school system in America. On a more positive note, I have seen students learn over and over again in spite of that same system and rise above the rest to become shining stars and succeed through the help of one good teacher. I have seen students stay in school and not become a drop-out statistic also because of one good teacher. There are many teachers here in America but few good ones. In Peace, CP

Thank you for asking to be my friend. How lovely. Yes no peace equates no love.
They go hand in hand. Jill
