I was glued to the TV set, fearing McCain would pull it off somehow. When they announced Obama had just secured enough electorial votes to win, I hit my knees. My faith was restored in my country. I found hope and relief in knowing that the Bush Imperialism is soon over.

As for the history in the making, perhaps, physically, it is. I am happy for the change, but in reality, the change was already there. We just had to accept it. Obama is a symbol (sociologically speaking) of seeing that change. He will forever be a symbol. Now, it is up to humanity to see that and understand it. Accept it. As for Bush's imperialism, I can not dislike that about him. It is his own life's perspective that cause him to do what he did. He is, after all, human. Think if you will, perhaps he isn't self-aware (truly self-actualized). What he thinks is right for him is not necessarily right for others. His actions perhaps pertain to the ideals of other individuals in our nation that are within the same social ideals. Ideology is definitely going through a war within itself. Humanity is finding a means to understand it. Accept it. The collective consciousness is such at a young age that it is now facing itself. I remember, as I was growing, that I lived my life in imagination, grew to live my life according to how living my life in society was (lost according to what the definition of life is due to degrees, work, etc.), getting confused of whom I am, finding out who I am, found out who I am and my true meaning in life, and now working towards integrating back into the social realm while maintaining my understanding (by not loosing myself again by the many deterrences of social living). This being said, the collective consciousness is doing the same thing. Humanity is aging. Humanity is getting to the point where it is now understanding and accepting. Beyond that, imagination will occur again which will be a dawning of a new age of thought. Evolution at it's best.

This being said, our new symbol (Obama), will definitely help in humanity's understanding of truth.
