(untitled) (on feeling the emotions of one another)

In our everyday lives, individuals feel the need to connect with another in hopes that their realities can be seen by the other. Throughout the years of humanity's existence, societies have always misunderstood each other due to communication, cultural, religious, and geographical barriers. These are the realities of which societies choose to live in whether they were subconsciously inherited or cognitively chosen. We have always, in at least one time during the span of our lifetime, felt as if we are never understood. When feeling this, we tend to rely on each other to get through the tough times. Mentally and physically. It is humanity's calling for us to always have each other in mind whether we need help or not in order to keep the connection throughout humanity. This is evolution working it's wonders in helping mold the collective consciousness and subconsciousness of humanity.

I can recall a point in my life when I had a friend whom was in great need of help. Had I just listen to her words and logically answered them, I may have directed her towards a wrong reality. In order to help the her, I had to place myself, my very essence into her situation. In doing so, I felt the pain. The sadness. All of the feelings felt as if they were my own. As I noticed this, I could not help but almost have a tear on my eye. Why is it that when when feeling someone else's pain, it affects our own very being? Through feelings, perhaps, a form of telekinesis can be born. It may not be actively thinking of what the other person is thinking, but feeling what the other person is feeling. At that time, I was able to give her situational answers according to her own feelings. My biases were dropped. My full essence was connected with her, and in the end of the conversation, there was a feeling of relief between the both of us. The relief was mostly felt by the other. Again, I ask myself this questions. Why? How?

When countries go to war with each other, they do not feel each other's national persona. Instead, the war is based on the conflicting differences and its nonacceptance. Seeing this and understanding it, this type of war will not end. Albeit, there is one way to end the war which is to rid of the conflicting party. Is this where humanity has gone wrong? There is no communication between both countries. There is only the ego that keeps themselves in check. Their very collective essence is lost within the collective ego, and, at times, they are being lead by a leader whom only cares about his own well being and what he thinks would be better for the country instead of for the people in the country and the collective well being. There is a connection between this all that has been so severed that it seems as though the collective ego is determined to ensure that this connection stays severed.

The similarities between self, country, and humanity is pretty distinct. It's as if each entity are separate, yet interconnected. It is always hard for me to describe things with such contradictions, but reality is where all contradictions themselves have common ground. It is what it is. Now I am trying to either accept it and live it, or find better means to work towards a more collective humanitarian way of life. Ultimately, humanity will understand that we are all one. Take if you will a driver with his window down while drinking a bottle of soda decides to throw it out the window. His individualistic action seemed so harmless. But there are millions of individuals whom think the same exact way. They have all, more then likely, thrown the bottle out the window. In doing so, these individualistic actions has now caused a problem for the greater state of the society. If we had thought about how we feel about the pollution of our own environment that of which we live in, then perhaps our individualistic action would not have occurred. We are all connected.
