I find myself
sitting around
wondering why I keep
on keeping on making my art
and then I realize
what I already
knew
it is a need
a desire in me 2
express myself
inside
a
piece
of thread
a piece 4 peace
just the driving force
inside of me
2 want

it is ok
2 be an artist
even when it feels like play
it is hard work
4 when you
have
those
days
of
doubt
well no sense
trying 2 make cents
having an attitude as such
so up I pick my spirits up
return 2 doing
something
creating
anything
which make me
feel happy inside
that makes me become
alive inside my
inner side
of my
in
sides
I am very
happy and grateful
2 be alive 2 have the time
4 the space of wondering at times
just what in the heck am I doing here
anyways – playing around
no not at all
it is work
but
work
I love
so sometimes
when I get down on me
I find some crayons
go let the child
inside of me
come out
again

play
without
the judge and jury
breathing down my neck
2 make me feel less
2 make me feel
sad
so
I gather
my wits – 4 I will
not call it quits
4 I have
determination
2 one day
some
how
do
just
exactly
what I have
desired 2 do since
I was a child
2 start a
work
live
environment
where people may
live and be in
a program
2 get
over
their addictions
whatever they may be
by working thru
their emotions
with
crayons
pencils – paint
makers and things
just whatever you want 2 do
4 art heals the soul
the wounds
of the
heart
and I do
believe give a person
space 2 create and not worry
about things
and
they will
get back on their feet
just people need opportunities
people need 2 see the possibilities
of turning abandon buildings
in 2 spaces 4 all of
the artist
that
live
in
our
world
instead of
buildings just sitting
about – fallen down in 2 the
ground we could turn it around
give people a place 2 live
people helping
people
2
move
through
their addictions
and in 2 their
true selves
again

full circle again

art project I shall return

ok – enough
I shall
relax
breathe in
and watch the
butterfly sitting on my
window sill
and
be
still
4 awhile
or so I think
4 my creative
thoughts

returning
