Martin Luther King Jr. said:
“We will match your capacity to inflict suffering, by our capacity to endure suffering. We shall meet your physical force with soul force. Do to us what you will, and we shall continue to love you. Throw us in jail, and we shall still love you. Bomb our homes and threaten our children, and we shall still love you. Send your hooded perpetrators of violence into our community at the midnight hour and beat us and leave us half dead, and we shall still love you. But be assured that we shall wear you down by our capacity to suffer. One day we shall win freedom, but not only for ourselves. We shall so appeal to your heart and conscience that we shall win you in the process, and our victory will be a double victory!”

Given the attitude of those in power, this mindset is not more that a dream that will never come true.. Speaches of this sort, though come out with proven sincerity, can be instrumental to draw hopes for the suppressed classes that live with multiple pains on pieces of lands (real estate/property which is being fought for) called Palestine, Lebonan, Syria, Iraq, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iran (minorities), Chechenya and so on.
Let us hope, and rather see, when the 'DOUBLE VICTORY' phrased in the above speech of Martin Luther King's Junior. would come true. The role of the Geeks in THE COSMETIC UNITED NATIONS should be kept in mind while wording/delivering/passing hopes of victory against modern arsenals targetting empty-handed children, women, sickened and the aged people.
Let us hope and rather pray (pray is the only tool left for the victims) for victory on State Of The Art warfare Technologies. .

In my personal view of this matter I see an opportunity for us to move toward a greater chance to sustain our existence as a human species on this planet. When we collectively raise our consciousness to a higher level, we create a brighter future for our children and their childrens children.
I think we must move beyond suffering for a good cause and look at what MLK was really trying to bring across. Let us not put what he was saying in a literal sense because he was speaking to those times not ours. There was true suffering however, the speech was describing a peaceful reaction to a violent action against the self. That was one way to deal with the persecution. I look at the message of love coming from his speeches and this, for me, is the key force to bringing peace on earth. When we allow ourselves to shine, we give all people we touch an excuse to shine too. Love will become the cure to all of our suffering If we would only embrace the love we have within and bring it out.
Besides, why do we worry about our material selves when it is our spiritual existence driving us to eternity. Our souls desire is to grow in the likeness of God and when we believe it in our own particular way we will see theres no need to hoard all you can now, cause theres only one life to live: materialism. We would realize consciousness lives on without the body, and the self God was asking to become perfect as he is perfect in Heaven is the soul. Does it sound stupid to say you'll kill someone when in essence, even if you did, you have not? Didn't Jesus say, "fear no man who can kill the body, but can do nothing to kill the soul?" When will we see the light on a collective level and collectively call it truth? Does it really matter? We've come here to experience life the way it is on this planet, otherwise, we would be collectively creating a different experience. And theres a key: If we dont like what we are experiencing, then it is up to us to create a more desirable experience. Gods only capable of saving the world through us. Be a tool for God and use Him to transform yourself, if you want to change our world.
