I also admired Ghandi for his sacrifices, Rosa parks for standing up for herself and others, Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream coming to life, Ronald Reagan for his soft spoken words and the presidential decisions he kept secret until the time was right, and Paul Newman for his life-long marriage, and what he stood for.
In London-July 2005, Sir Bob Geldof (VERY well) proclaimed the importance of cultivating peace on the LIVE 8 Stage before ~3 BILLION televised-viewers:
