Earthdance is the global festival for peace, and Prayer for Peace, an annual worldwide collaboration, since 1997, in support of UN Peace Day. To date, Earthdance has been held in over 500 locations in 80 countries.

EARTHDANCE 2010 - how to get involved.


100,000 people in 50+ countries and 200+ locations dancing together for peace!
On September 18th, 2010, in alignment with the International Day of Peace, musicians, DJs, artists, speakers, and participants at hundreds of events across the globe, plus tens of thousands more joining online will unite in support of global peace, sustainable culture and humanitarian aims. Addressing this year's theme - Embracing All Traditions - each Earthdance event will focus on honoring the patchwork of faiths and cultures that make up our human family. The defining moment of each Earthdance event is a synchronized link-up (at 23:00 UTC - Coordinated Universal Time), when every event around the world plays the "Prayer for Peace" track at exactly the same time. Every person makes a difference and we invite you to join us for the Prayer for Peace on Sept 18. Help to light up the map with your presence by letting us know you will be there in spirit.

IMHO: overtonesinging used in classical music creates great Peace of mind. Dont you think ?

I enjoyed the web stream much from all over the gdiffrent places..
just finneshed watching and had such great time.Blessings even took this angel pictures meanwhile the peace paryer was said bless.

There is in Jakobstad in Finland and theybmade 2007 a great poster if you look at the posters created thet are such visual blessing to watch.

The dansing in melbourne and bodypainting was great aswell as the goddesses alchemy..super performance aswell the medicine drums and poetry..of the young natives..I really really felt blessed connecting here in -finland.
