- Since my 16 year-old innocent son, Blair Holt, was killed on May 10, 2007, I have become an advocate for gun control and stopping the violence and dangerous weapons getting into the hands of the mentally unstable and violent criminals and youth, thus promoting peace in our streets, at home, in our churches, our work-places, places of recreation and relaxation. I give talks about gun violence and peace.
