"Taking action now can, hopefully, reverse the damage that we, as human beings, have imposed on our planet... I much prefer to be part of the solution as part of the problem and I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to do the same. It is time for us all to wake up and realize that, if we are to save this planet, we ALL need to start today working towards its recovery. We all need to accept responsibility for the damage that we have caused."

~Maureen Kelly

To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.

I think the essence of true friendship is to simply be there for each other. I think the little things in your friends life is what makes one another friends and builds friendships.

Those are simple ideas, but it is what I live by and have always lived by. In addition, I am surrounded by people that to the same. My quote is a common one, "talk the talk, but walk the walk."

Not sure who wrote it, but I love it because it gets right to the point and is a fact.

Peace

"The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. So it goes. ... Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that. "

"Men often hate each other because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don't know each other; they don't know each other because they can not communicate; they can not communicate because they are separated."

"You know my friends, there comes a time when people get tired of being trampled by the iron feet of oppression ... If we are wrong, the Supreme Court of this nation is wrong. If we are wrong, the Constitution of the United States is wrong. And if we are wrong, God Almighty is wrong. If we are wrong, Jesus of Nazareth was merely a utopian dreamer that never came down to Earth. If we are wrong, justice is a lie, love has no meaning. And we are determined to work until justice runs down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream."

~Martin Luther King Jr.

~Martin Luther King, Jr.
