Preventing the peoples will from being realized, slowing change and fostering conflict. You have the technology to eliminate poverty, hunger and resource shortage. To create 2 Billion new jobs and support a population of 10 Billion, to remove conflict and war from society. To adapt to climate change, to move your energy grid into the road and railway system via conductive energy transfer methods. To create sustainable cities based upon integrated, renewable life support strategies. You lack only the political and social cooperative facilities.

You have the technology to deploy reusable Manned and unmanned superconductive rail launched vehicles on Earth and the Moon. Once you move beyond the search for life, you also possess the ability to begin terraforming Mars with robotic factories, this could all be accomplished in the next 100 years, raising the Martian atmosphere to a level which will support rudimentary life forms that enable human colonies to be semi self-sufficient. You lack only the political and social cooperative facility.
