It took Linda 16 years to wake up and become a whistleblower? What will it take for liberals to understand that by blocking the public option and allowing control and delivery of healthcare to remain in the hands of healthcare industry providers, Obama remains complicit in perpetuating outrages that those who complain while supporting him and other obeissant Democrats decry. Those who support guillty politicians while wailng against the oligarchs both national and transnational who promote our pain aim at the wrong targets. Some believe it possible to work within corrupted, fractured, obsolete systems; others believe change will come from outside neoliberal systems of abuse. Whichever you ascribe to, I do know this: unless you target those complicit in why our condition is becoming more and more desperate, you stand on the side of the downfall of the middle class.
