being of the same generation as you I am aware of the violence there was in brazil as there was a significan amount of violence in both detroit and chicago. The problem is nobody is in control over the violence that happens in the world. From time to time those who chose to committ vioence are either locked up or are themselves killed.
1.3 million iraqi citizens are now dead because Bush was allowed to stay in office the complete 8 years.
I pray everyday that Obam excutes a withdrawal of the 130,000 troops now in Iraq but it seems not to be happening very quickly They say 18 months ...I do not believe it will be done in 18 months.

Watching that video of Neda dying only reflects just one student dying. According to reports there have been several hundred people who have lost there lives

Before watching the video I already thought of MyBrazil at 1968. Democracy, my friend, is better than thirany.
We had that before, from civilization and before. When a group of important and powerfull people get together in the countries, they do all they can to remain with the keys to the safes.
When people begin to open their wallets, they may be executed in public places, again.
Fair? Justice? Equal rights? This is a dream, Al. A dream, and looks like an eternal nightmare.
We have to straighten up the words with reallity.
We are not free. We follow, inforced, laws from corrupts.
We are not egual.People kill and people get rich, people die, people is majoritilly poor. Where is equality?
All Humans have the same rights.
Are all humans the same we are talking about?
By the way, Al, sorry about my lack of kindness on the words, but... people shoot, kill, launch atomic devices over our head, leaks fuel and planes from the skies on our heads, they put fire on our woods, the destroy the land that feeds us, they polute the water, melt poles on the planet... and we do nothing about it?
Who is in charge of the life of the Planet, by the way?
People already started hunting men on wide roads...
The Colliseum didn't have a roof, but we certainly are building one up there of sattelites, aren't we?
Without sun, we are going to freeze, and when it start, there is no way to stop it.
They, the powerfull people, are afraid of been judged alives and their intention is to remain there and hided by youngers when they'll become old, to preserve their lifes.
It is a matter of life and death, indoubtly.
We, people, has any and each, the same legal rights in all constitution, in all religions, in papers, in illusions, but never, never, this will be truth. We are not eguals. We do not have the same rights.
We should, but it is not true that the powerfull people practice it. Nor anybody else, except the real people, those, who suffer and die.
Freedom... we don't have.
Same rights we don't practice.
Fraternity.... well.. some groups consider all humans sons of a same father. Same don't believe in the brotherhood.
Peace... we need.
Truth and justice, very much.
