Why is this so important? We have to make informed choices as a consumer. We have a right to know about food we eat and feed our families, but under current regulations, we don't have that ability when it comes to GE foods.

Did you know? The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) may soon approve genetically engineered salmon, which would be the first genetically engineered animal on supermarket shelves in the United States. And the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is considering a new type of herbicide-resistant corn that will promote the use of more chemicals in our food supply.

Talk 8 with Connor Murphy - You have a purpose and its not Xbox

Communicating transparently with Connor Murphy (my youngest guest on the Sofa so far) Connor is a 14 year old who changed his life after letting go of his addiction to Xbox and turning his focus to his musical talents. He now makes a difference in the world by creating awareness through his music.

I asked Connor what his message was - "My message? That's clear. Be different, know that you have a purpose and that you were born with the tools to accomplish it. Keep your imagination alive or else you'll end up like everyone else jammed in a cubicle in an office building for the rest of ya life. Play the game."
