John Quincy Adams the sixth president of this country did in fact work hard to bring an end to slavery in this country.. He was a son of a founding father.
Many founding fathers were abolitionists. A signifcant number of founding fathers were slave owners. John Adams, Samuel Adams, Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, and many others were abolitionists....
