We are approaching health care and all issues from the wrong perspective.  Health care could and should be free, not a "taxpayer burden".  Most people have been led to believe that taxes are revenues for the government, but that's far from true.  Taxes are a return to the government of money that was put into circulation by the government in the first place, but unfortunately the government borrows everything rather than printing our own as the constitution says we should, so we are left with a huge mess of an economic problem.

We've turned into an adversarial people - each one against all of the others - because we've been led to believe that someone else getting something good takes away from the rest of us.  We SHOULD be HELPING each other and focusing on creating a better future instead.

Many issues could be solved within a year if they were handled locally, but we still must deal with the roots of our national issues.  I wish I could have been on the stage during that debate.  I'd give the people a new perspective in a heart beat.

i am disappointed in you, Al. this is misinformation. the teabagger pigs did clap and yell "let him die" Ron Paul said no. that the man should be treated, not turned away. but if he chose of his own free will to not have insurance then he s...hould be responsible for the bill and the decision he made. he has a good job and could afford the insurance but chose not to and that is his responsibility to pay for the bill, not the tax payers responsibility to cover for his bad decision. he said he should get a major medical plan if he wants to participate in the system but you can't have it both ways. this clip is edited to make him look like he agrees with those scum in the audience. shame in you, Al.
