although she is in search of that perfect place, she ends up realizing that it is "Home", you don't have to go anywhere to find it, because the pot of gold is found in the rainbow within ~~~<3

The Wizard of Oz has some of the best moral references throughout the film that you could ever view at one time. A lost teen in search of the perfect ending of a rainbow, what a concept. Dorthy had to experience all the good & evil that surrounded her world in order for her to come out on top. She made friends along the way, all the while making sure they were alright. She stood up in the eyes of fear and hatred, never cowering to their level of thinking. With each attempt to succeed, she was challenged. She continued to meet all challenges, until she had found her way back to what was most important to her.

Dorthy also came to the realization that Wizards are only human and that a heart, a brain and courage were something which we all possessed, as she so gallantly demonstrated. She also learned, as we all have, that we posses the power to create our way home, our destiny. We just have to decide which road we must take. You see, just as it is in the film, we all posses this power. However, it is up to us to internalize our capability. We must first experience life's challenges in order to realize that "Somewhere over the Rainbow", "There's no place like Home..."
