- I grew up outside Chicago and moved to California for college and never left. Coming from the flat lands of Illinois, I love all of the geography that surrounds me in and around Los Angeles, I never take for granted the beauty of the mountains and the ocean. I also love to travel and I am compelled to take photos where ever I go. Rather than take broad photos, I enjoy photos that show the inner beauty of flowers and plants and I never tire of sunsets. I have captured faces all over the world and love to share the diversity and sameness of our planet within the smiles of all our neighbors. My sister started peaceplease.com and the Peace Channel to provide a place where all peoples can use talk as a way to avoid conflicts in the world. I support her in her cause.
