in fact, I don't' even have satellite or cable TV. I'm unplugged from TV. I get my news from the Net. Plus, being in media my whole life, I'm disgusted by what I see now on TV, in print and on radio in America. I call it "newstainment." It's the mixing of news and entertainment (sensationalism is a part of that). True, critical analyses of worldwide issues are seldom covered very well by American media. I realize that is a gross generalization, but they have yet to prove me incorrect.
