The ScreenPEACE Project...by Kid Filmmakers

Mahatma Ghandi said: "If we are to reach real peace in the world and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children."

In this lifetime, I wear several hats--writer, editor, producer, color therapist, spiritual aromatherapist, as well as the founder and executive director of KID FILMMAKERS, a year-round traveling filmmaking academy for children, grades 1-12.

KID FILMMAKERS produces many filmmaking programs, including The ScreenPEACE Project, a 10-day filmmaking and peace program where participants (grades 6-12) collaborate on a movie about peace, which will be submitted to the Global Peace Film Festival.

In addition to daily world updates, discussions and pertinent film screenings, activities include: conflict resolution, team building, tolerance, planning a documentary, videography, storyboarding, screenwriting, acting, logline, film scoring, editing and a World Peace Wrap Party.
