“Sitting by the seashore”

I went to the waters edge and sat for a long time yesterday ~ I sat and closed my eyes and listened the tides flowing back and forth ~ I visualized world of peace ~ I sat and sang “give peace a chance” ~ a women walked by and sat down beside me and starting singing with me ~ then we sat in silence again listening to the tides ~ I started to cry feeling so at ease ~ feeling so happy that she was sitting beside me ~ we talked and walked and she was from Germany here visiting ~ she said she wanted to just sit for awhile as well ~ so no matter where we go we are really never alone ~ we have our memories ~ we gather new friends ~ as we open our hearts to others ~ I am glad I took myself out of my house ~ to think ~ to sit ~ to listen to what my inner self had to show me ~ it showed me the vast ocean before me ~ with all the fish inside the deep blue sea ~ I gathered some special shells that washed up around me ~ it felt good to get wet as the tide came in and back out again ~ my new friend Stella said she was feeling lonely and a stranger in a unfamiliar place ~ now we have found each other ~ sisters in our universal one world family ~ I invited her into my studio and she enjoyed sitting and relaxing ~ while we had a cup of tea ~ we exchanged addresses so we can stay in touch ~ so wonderful to go outside and when you least expect it ~ someone special appears ~ may I learn to walk away when I am feeling blue ~ walk away to the ocean and take some time out ~ to clear the brain to cleanse the soul of negative thoughts ~ to think positive ~ to embrace what life has given us ~ the challenges ~ the blessings ~ the gift of a new friend Stella ~ we live on such a lovely planet ~ may we remember to walk gently upon her ~ may we embrace others with hugs and love ~ for we never know when someone new will appear ~ and our family grows larger ~ after all ~ all we are saying in is give peace a chance ~ hugs and love to everyone
