As various media outlets continue to inspire millions of people to send donations (via http://redcross.org
and other organizations) for those affected by the earthquake in Haiti, we're able to witness how powerful all forms of media can be. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been raised so far, and lives are being saved as a result. Yet, there was an emergency before this earthquake struck, as our human family has not yet eliminated extreme poverty on our planet (Haiti being a clear example of this). Without life's basic needs, inner and outer peace are very difficult to attain. So is it possible? Could all forms of media be used to inspire our Global community to come together and ensure that all people have access to food, clean drinking water, health care, clothing, safe shelter and education? Can we use all forms of media to study and teach inner/outer peace throughout the Globe? Our answer is YES... if we choose to. And can the MyPeace.TV community play a key role in this process? Indeed... in deed....
With over 3700 members (of many faiths and belief systems) and over 2200 videos shared; we've come a long way. As we continue to expand the Movement to Co-Create a better World through media, each one of you is invited to add videos you created, or videos that inspire you (by copying the embed code) from sites like YouTube, Vimeo, or Hulu. For those of you who want to create videos, but don't know how, we suggest you check out http://OneTrueMedia.com
, a website where anyone can create a video. Or, if you have any kind of video camera, we encourage you to film yourself speaking what's on your mind, and in your heart. Not only may we feature your video on the front page of MyPeace.TV, but we're also exploring how we can help you share your content via Television (we'll be sure to let you know as soon as we're able to do this!). Meanwhile, everyone can play a role in spreading the word about MyPeace.TV, and a few ideas can be found in this blog
