Sacred Geometry --- What Is It ?
Wikipedia defines Sacred Geometry as such: Sacred geometry may be understood as a worldview of pattern recognition, a complex system of religious symbols and structures involving space, time and form. According to this belief the basic patterns of existence are perceived as sacred. By connecting with these, a believer contemplates the Mysterium Magnum, and the Great Design. By studying the nature of these patterns, forms and relationships and their connections, insight may be gained into the mysteries – the laws and lore of the Universe.
What this tells us, basically, is that Sacred Geometry boils down to a universal language that is widely understood across the Universes, consisting of .... mathematics. This mathematical connection is visible in music, art, the cosmos, computers, religions, medicine, alchemy. Virtually everything that surrounds us in Creation is impacted.
How Does Sacred Geometry Impact Us in the NOW?
As complicated and complex as it may appear, it is simply that we use Sacred Geometry every day without realizing it. When we listen to music, we are enjoying the benefits of .. Sacred Geometry. The music that we listen to, sing along with and sometimes seem to mindlessly hum is comprised of a sequence of whole notes or tones that repeat in a pattern of seven. Musician/Healer Ani Williams sums it up here: Like the seven naturally occurring colors of the rainbow, the octave of seven tones — indeed, all of Creation — is a singing matrix of frequencies that can be experienced as color, sound, matter, and states of consciousness all of which is known as "Sacred Geometry."
