The statewide governor-proclaimed celebration is designed to celebrate and recognize the unique and life-changing role that animals play in the lives of citizens through all walks of life. The week will underscore community spirit throughout Louisiana as people come together on behalf of the amazing animals and communities.
Louisiana Week for the Animals is turning the spotlight on animal shelters, humane organizations, advocates, sanctuaries, educators, students, artists, community leaders, and caring citizens in an action-packed compassionate week of community activities!
