Urge the US to charge or release Shaker Aamer and end indefinite detention at Guantanamo
Shaker Aamer, a former UK resident detained at Guantanamo, has been held without charge for over 8 years. His wife and children live in London and the UK government has asked for his return, but Aamer remains detained without charge.
Indefinite detention is a human rights violation. It must end.
International law obligates the US government to either charge Shaker Aamer with a crime and give him a fair trial, or release him.
