Beauty is a burden
given to me
by my very handsome parents
nothing I've done
I learned from my Mommas life
that it caused more strife
than to be homely
even though it gives me power
I can't deny that
a worldly fact
every body want o be beautiful
on the outer shell
Hasn't worked for me so well
can I trust words of love
am I feeding your ego
do you really see me?
