Im 53, mother of 6. I was transplanted to Calif. Kicking and screaming from NYC to Marin Co. I barely graduated from H.S and I've devoted my time these past 8 yrs to re-educate myself. My great grand father made typwritters he didn't invent them he perfected them and patened the ink. What family wealth we once had that wasn't squandered was chipped away by family fights unscrupulous lawyers and banksters. I'm an avid reader and I like to write. Back in the60's &70 my mom was very active in the Peace movement. So much so the FBI searched our house and bugged the phone. I've always stood for human rights and having ancestors back to the mayflower I'm kind of partial to this country and the potential of what should have grown. I'm a pacifist that loves boxing and I consider myself a progressive democrat/ socialist. I do believe in a better world is possible. And I am disillusioned with this president, and all the bad choices. I believe that MLK was a prophet and i try to learn from his words. I abhor violence but i believe that sometimes it is necessary.
