- I am a poet, composer I play harp, guitar, keyboard, and whistle amongst other folk instruments. I do rock music, jazz, Celtic and classical sometimes combining them all. I came to music as a result of a dream I had the night John Lennon was assassinated. In this dream he came to me barring a scroll and a key. As this dream was happening the phone rang. I woke up to answer and my boss from work told me the news about John Lennon being shot. That Christmas my parents gave me a guitar and by new years I had written my first song, “Worship Peace.” Most of my music is about love Peace, politics and spirituality. My friends and fans have dubbed me Geoffrey the Bard.
