Every journey requires a destination. When you plan a vacation you never just hop in the car and drive aimlessly. You carefully map out what hotel you will stay at. Do they have a pool? How close is it to family and friends? What events can we purchase tickets for in advance? What people will we meet when we get there? Which items would be best to pack in the luggage?
You dwell on how it will feel to be there, you can almost feel the sun on your body while you’re rubbing the sun tan lotion when looking online for air fares. You can almost smell the ocean when looking at the dates of your vacation on the calendar. You can almost taste the margarita you’re sipping on with delight while simply glancing at your reservation e-mail. Congratulations – And you said you never understood how autosuggestion, the law of attraction and visualization work. Well you do it all the time with your vacations. Now how about truly planning your life on your terms? The great thing about that is it never has to end with a trip back to the ordinary. Written BY: Ron Brown Photography BY: Keith Davenport

"Why should there be hunger and deprivation in any land, in any city, at any table, when man has the resources and the scientific know-how to provide all mankind with the basic necessities of life?"
~Martin Luther King, Jr.
