I heard the whisper of scars long forgotten. They show upon my frame and yet they beckon as if freshly made. Though time and years have been between me and these wounds they still impact my actions. Desires hindered by past actions that replay over and over. The finest aloe cannot remove the scar.

Then with careful examination and confrontation the shard of cause and the inflicting root are exposed. Carefully by this process does the infliction be exposed to healing and the infection of past is cured. No longer hindered by the tethers of subconscious jerking. Reactions now replaced by empowered freedom and validated confidence. No longer the victim of the past but master of my own destiny.
