Our home, my horse, and I, we ride the fields and on a summer night, I go to the barn with my boy and his mare. I say lets view the stars, and they follow. My horse will often be resting at night in the fenced field. I will walk out and lay with him, tucked up near his curled up front feet. We view the stars, no light or sound pollution, we listen to the night birds, we know we are specail. I have had him 30 years. Boarded him out when I lived overseas on remote islands. Came back because I loved him, and his stable mate.

Hi Bobbie,

Long day today was on the radio dong D.J. work volunteer but learning the bizz. I got a lot of compliments which was good, and pulled off a five and a half hour show solo, My second time. I love music so it is good for me mentally.

The station is WOJB HAYWARD WISCONSIN. 88.9 Wojb Hayward you will be able to hit listen. It is all over the world, and that is pretty cool. I like to learn the Native American ways, and so this is a treat.

The sand cranes are out now. In the last day I saw four eagles. I was missing my dog Yodels and the horse farrier was over. I was telling him how the eagle would sit and listen to me talk and sing to my horse. They kind of looked at me like sure. So then we went out side and his wife Joyce said there are four bald eagles huge in that tree. I said yes they used to come when I was brushing Pharaoh and Yodels was always out with me. I miss Yodels. I said let me see if I can call the eagles. Mind you they were in the far field. I just gently said come on eagles fly over me and show me a sign, like you did when Yodels was alive. Sure enough. They all flew the distance and flew over our heads. The eagles were flying very low, four feet above us, and I saw the eye of one that glided very slow and looked at me. I saw his or her eye. The horse farrier and his wife lived her all there life's. They said we never saw anything like that. That was incredible. Herb said I never saw an eagle fly that close to a human, we could of almost reached up and touched them, and they slowed down for us to see them so clearly. I said it must be a sign Yodels my little beagle in my pictures, on this site, is still with me.

They said I would take it as a sign. I slept good last night. Bobbie it is so amazing here. No sky pollution. The stars are beautiful, and the moon light nights. I am trying to make it into a place where people can donate a fee to stay. The down stairs is totally huge walk out and has private entrance and back door. Full bath. I saw a male turkey and his four females today. Ducks, Sand Crane, Geese, my beloved crows. Yes I like my crows. A fox. So much bird life is here as I have a huge beaver pond. So it is like living on a lake with the bird life only fields and woods... I hope you visit some day. I am so connected to the earth and the silence.

Oh I can bury my horses. I will,it is a law for cows and farm animals, not pets. As long as I keep them from the water way. I think some people get confused and the laws are confusing. Heck I don't have one hundred horses to not bury them. Just rendering plants make more money. It is always about big company's and money.

I would love to share this with a human who really understood, but it appears we are living in a materialistic world.

This sight is great as many are like minded. Your lucky you have Rob. And he is lucky he has you.

I am just in love with my pets. This place is a lot of work for one woman but it keeps me fit. I think the longer I am alone the more I like it. The eagles were so healing. They have not been back. The great part is now someone else saw what I see all the time. I have gone up and talked with black bears and have no fear. It is amazing what we have lost in our society. The animals and Wildlife are a sign, we need to get back to our roots the earth, and nature, so I believe. Love and Peace Jill

I think it is wonderful what you are doing for the land and animals (ah, and humans). If only everyone understood what we do and how we treat the land and animals directly affects us. It is an honor to have connected with you also, Jill. Your Wild Life Sancuary sounds amazing! Peaceful! I would love to visit sometime, thank you. Why aren't you supposed to bury horses? What do they expect you to do? It sounds like that was a very rough day, at least you had a friend to go with you. It's nice to have a friend to help lighten the load. Like you said, "This is a wonderful place to connect with people of like minds." It has been very nice for me. To see that there are people out there that have real compassion and understanding of reality. Rob(my boyfriend) is the only one around me with whom I can connect to on this level. For that I feel very lucky. We have embarked on this journey together. I do miss having girlfriends, but I find it very hard to relate to people that are so concerned with only themSelves. You girls are a blessing! ☼

This is a beautiful picture. It's amazing how in tune you both are to each other. And it is clear that Pharaoh is aware of the photo being taken. Very bright :)

Your wildlife sanctuary sounds Amazing! I would like to turn my home into a refuge for animals. It is just under 2 acres, but that could do wonders for a creature in need. I would like to open them all over the world. It is so sad that some countries do not even have animal shelters!! there is so much work that needs to be done....

I would love to visit your place sometime, especially to see you :)

You are a Wonderful spirit. And it makes me feel good that people like You and Bobbi are out there.

Much Love to you both and to All the animals at your Beautiful place. Thank you for all that You do. You are very much Appreciated.

Peace ( to ALL beings)

Hi Bobbie, So glad to meet you. I was on WOJB Native American Radio today, alone as D.J. for a four hour show. Whew.... I only had two hours of practice, but I did okay and it was great as I got to play a lot of earth songs by various groups, including Native American, and my own selection. Had a good time. Good experience.

Yes thirty years is a long time. A friend Colleen from down the road came and we picked out a place to bury the horses. Have to be prepared. Can you believe the law in Wis. is you cannot bury a horse!!! Forget them. Let some one turn me in. I don't own one hundred acres for nothing!!! Sad to hear about the hunting of cougars.

Man is so self centered, we as people are taking land from the wildlife, and if we had collectively had more insight we would gather we are taking life and land from ourselves. It is the circle of life. I grow weary of it.

Okay world, I am a bit tipsy from organic wine now as I type. Had to get that way to deal with the burial spot for my horses. I will have the excavator come and did two holes, cover them for the time with wood, as our winters are so severe it is what people do for pets. Gosh... Your empathy is appreciated.

I am in my fifties and facing immortality myself. I just have my Wildlife Sanctuary to protect forever the animals from not being hunted on this land, or the tree cut. It is so beautiful here, the wildlife, the huge beaver pond the solitude. It is remarkable. Today alone I saw a Male Turkey display his feathers, and four females, a pair of Sand Cranes, geese, ducks, a beautiful owl fly near or past my window of upper floor, and an eagle. I have a pond that is large and draws much life my way.

Your lucky to have a boyfriend that is in tune with the earth correct cleansing products. I just go with the leaping bunny logo as much as possible. It is paramount in our life's now.
I am glad you have Chester, sounds like a wonderful kitty! Yes thirty years and Pharaoh is still going strong. Yes it is a very long time. I will miss him dearly. If I do not go first. I have it in the Land trust the animals will be put to sleep when I pass if I should before them. They are old and need not be going to any other home.

I am big on rescue dogs as I think they make wonder loyal pets, and they seem to know they are saved. Same with kitty cats. You sound so youthful and wise at the same time. It is my pleasure to have connected with you. I hope if you are ever going North to stop in and visit my Wild Life Sanctuary. It will be in a land trust forever. No hunting, no pesticides, no logging, and no disturbance of the beaver pond. I live in my own world here. Pure and lovely. I had a great time at the Native American WOJB radio station doing D.J. work. Music and dance is my life, and the earth and wildlife. This is a wonderful place to connect with people of like minds. You sound so sincere and honest. Keep in touch. Jill

I am very close with our kitty, Chester. I'd hate to image life without him and it's only been seven years. I can't even imagine 30, it is a very long time for such a great love. It's so easy to get attached to such wonderful creatures.

Hi Bobbi. Thank you for the comment on my horse. He is thirty years old now. I got him when he was a nine months old. In Ca. then to Or. we moved, and now his final resting place Wisconsin. It is how it is. Love. He still looks great. I really love him. He has cushings and I give him meds. each day. So he looks and feels good. It will break my heart when I have to say good bye to him. Thirty years is a long time. We have seen and heard much together. His name is Pharaoh. Which I would of named him Red Cloud.. I was young. Actually he has been treated like a King and I am a slave to his love!!!!
