I grew that hair down to the middle of my back, and only got it cut off when i got thrown in jail for my political work... and there were no combs that would get through my long hair.... and the fighting was easier with no hair.. so I got a buzz cut. When I showed back up at our show, where I played a hippy stoner (one of 11 people), they were shocked to see my hair gone...
