meeting with womens peace group

My wife, Rose, and I had the pleasure of meeting with women's peace groups in small villages while we were in Pakistan.
These women, at the encouragement of the Interfaith League Against Poverty have formed peace groups promoting nonviolence in their lives. They have met resistance from men in the villages, but have continued to meet.
Some of the groups have formed peace cooperatives, making peace crafts to sell to help support their families.
We purchased crafts for gifts and for our museum gift shop while we were there.
