The Social Artistry Odyssey is a week-long adventure for young adults (18-35) who yearn to live their lives with more meaning and purpose in service to a thriving world.
The Social Artistry Odyssey was created to support the societal shift that is occurring: if we are to respond and solve the challenges of our time, we must be magnificent. Imagine a community made up of people operating not from their egos, but from their highest selves and optimum potential!
This is the community we are creating - the community the world needs to turbo charge this transformation.
The adventure includes 4 realms of discovery:
Realm 1- Social Artistry Introduction & Deepening: Learn to engage and use all levels of your human capacities and perceptions — sensory, psychological, historic, mythic, symbolic, and unitive. These capacities will turbo charge the potency of anything you want to create!
Realm 2- "Story Bridge" led by Richard Geere- A 24 hour crash course in Social Theater Training for all participants.
Realm 3- SPARK Project Lab Day- A day to get updates from Emerging Leaders about the projects that they have begun as well as bring YOUR project to the group for support, advice and connections! This will also include an inter-generational open forum discussion on successes and challenges faced by Social Entrepreneurs!
Realm 4- Enjoying the Environment- Sharing beautiful space, experiences, ideas and connections with other people looking to use their talents to improve their lives and the world. The location, Jackson Wellsprings offers beautiful grounds, natural hot springs, natural food & spa services and more to encourage grounded connections between participants.
For the 2nd year in a row The Odyssey is being sponsored by 2 organizations whose missions are centered around Social Change and Progress! We are so grateful to Jean Houston Foundation (www.jeanhoustonfoundation.org) and The Launching Pad (www.launchingpadberkeley.com) for their continued support!
