I'm so sorry to hear about your son and his girlfriend. When I was in highschool, I lost six friends to gang violence. In the 90's I found a place to go and think at the World Trade Center. I liked it there, so many busy people who never noticed me there. It felt as though I was invisable when I was there. But one woman there did notice me. She became my friend. But she died on 9/11. And my grandfather was a police officer who was killed in the line of duty. But that was before I was born, so I never got to know him. But to lose a child. I can not even imagine what that is like. I know that sometimes there are just no words. So don't feel bad if you can't think of things to talk about. I'll still share my photos with you, and I'll pray for you and your family every day.
