I beleive that peace is not a place where people go into the mountains to heal and find quiet, I feel as though peace is the fine art of living and advancing one's self to the enrichment of life's worth to another and more so beond that. Peace, yes: is a state of suspension, committment to conduct, but also a place in life to serve a goal defined by tasteful sharing.

Movies
Always prone to those films that truly comment on global trends... so yes hollywood plays a part, as of late the tv has become for many an inspiration for modern action, but I find what sells at the box office sometimes threads what is expanded upon by the tele.
Television
Fast growing trends tell what the public comes home to and what lingers on the mind throught the next day as if to drive sublime intrest and almost control the affairs of populace association, yet my faves seem to be left to more religious contemplation as to wether they should fit with pop culture... Supernatural, Blood ties,( old) Red shoe diaries, Being erica (sometimes).
Music
Light alternative... Enigma, Delerium, U2, right back into the hay day 80's depeche mode, cult and pop bands like christopher cross. All somewhat individually sastifying as all tastes seem to be; yet these are almost the most direct home run hitting relevance I've heard in quite a while, although as what matters is determined by what confronts my identity as what changes and the base hit alters.
Books
Oh always a sucker for a well delivered fantasy, yet not always as simple as the good guy always takes all. My fav as of now Charles de lint a Canada born "urban" fantasy writer,
Heroes
King Aurther and his lessons on life, even when your empire is lost your best friend has true love with your wife and the fall of avalon could be complete life carries on and your victories can still be felt centuries after your fall into myth and legend that is something that to me which does surpass destruction.
