"When the POWER OF LOVE is more prevelent than the love of power, then the world will be at peace" - ?

I've been a peace advocate since 1968 and was present at the peace march on Washington, DC that year. I know that this world could be a peaceful place where all beings could live in harmony with each other. Throughout my life I have been a peace activist through spiritual practice and personal conduct.

Now I am actively promoting peace through Fair Trade practices. I am manager of a Fair Trade gifts store in Gainesville, Florida called Alternatives Global Marketplace. Our store supports freeing Tibet and we sell products made by Tibetan refugees. We also sell items made by women’s co-ops, community projects and refugees projects from war tour areas of the world like Darfur, Uganda, Rwanda, Jerusalem, Afghanistan, Vietnam, etc. Many of the items in Alternatives are made from recycled material because those who live in countries with few resources recycle everything. Let us all take a stand for a peaceful world and through our vision, make our dream come true.
