Music became a major inspiration in my life at an early age. I began singing at age 5 and wrote my first song at the age of 7. I have been playing guitar now for 18 years. I am a musician who loves to teach and I also have years of experience playing live as well as doing recording work. Currently, I teach a broad range of music including rock, alternative, blues, and country. I attributes my ability to teach effectively to my education and my strong passion and love for music.

I am also working on my Master of Science degree in Mass Communications. I intend to combine all of my interest and talents with the changing technology in society today.

I have a strong interest in Buddhist beliefs. I also continue to be an avid practitioner of yoga.

My musical taste is very broad. As a teenager I took a huge interest in guitar players like Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, Jimi Hendrix and Santana. I studied jazz guitar performance in college. Once in there, I discovered players such as Pat Metheny, John Scofield, and Wes Montgomery.
