World Unity Day, November 11 - A day to "celebrate the diversity of the human family."

On November 11, 2008, LLP Global produced an event to celebrate “World Unity Day” and commemorate Mayor Rob Adams officially proclaiming every November 11, World Unity Day in Sedona, Arizona, making it the first city globally to support this initiative. The event featured multicultural music, art, film, social change speakers, community leaders, youth and an interfaith ceremony (video highlights below). Mayor Phil Gordon and the Human Relations Commission of Phoenix, Arizona also officially endorse the ‘day’.

Please join over four thousand people from 113 countries in signing the "Declaration of World Unity" petition, and consider doing something in your community on November 11, 2009 to celebrate your community's diversity and foster unity.

Hi Kevin, I took some time and looked into your website/project and vision which we share..My Unity vision lead me to Israel to work amidst the religions and then I had the same idea as you in a sense with a song in which many people could be involved in: It's called: You Are The One.
