Divorced; 3 adult children all on their own; environmental sustainability; social justice; living wage; organic and fair trade; community supported agriculture; alternative energy - these are some of my "passions". I've been an activist since my senior year of high school and truly believe Margaret Meade's quote: "Never doubt that a small thoughtful group of committed people can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has." War is not the answer-it's a reaction, and if this world population is to endure, we need to find better ways to communicate. I work for peace because I want my children and future grandchildren and great grandchildren to have a better world!

I love most types of music - not country too much - but can appreciate lyrics, instrumentation, and creativity in all its forms. Music is the universal language. It transcends boundaries, language barriers, and lifts my spirit like nothing else.
