Soul Exchange

Just curious about something.. Does anyone know anything about so called "soul exchange" or "walk-in soul exchange". Quite an event has happened with a friend recently and someone brought this idea to my head. I know the basic idea of the concept but just wondering if anyone else has any knowledge or opinions

    I don't really know a lot about it, though I have read some...
    From what I read, the walk in soul is a more powerful, advanced soul which takes over the body of a soul that has otherwise become depressed, or taken to "darker" things. It "trains" the person to become "better" at life, if you will. It is meant to help the person regain their spirituality...
    That's about all I know...
