The World March for Peace and Nonviolence

The World March for Peace & Nonviolence is the concerted effort of 100 countries and 7 continents who yearn for peace and call for the eradication of nuclear arms and an end to war and all forms of violence that continue to plague humanity.

Endorsing and Participation for the World March for Peace and Nonviolence

We are doing a campaign to get the word out about the World March for Peace and Nonviolence.

The campaign has begun as the March travels the world.

Hundreds of thousands of people world wide will be out in the streets doing tabling, holding events, and connecting with their immediate environment, their friends and families, coworkers, colleagues, religious and social organizations they participate in to let them know about this dignified and urgent cause.

If you would like to participate further, please contact us at worldmarchny@verizon.net to see what we are doing in local schools, workplaces, universities, with other organizations, etc. to make this initiative grow.

If you have further questions, please contact us here and look for postings of projects and materials we are using to further disseminate and get out the word and organize ourselves for this cause.

Kind regards and many thanks for your support.

Does anybody know how to get a list of WORKING contacts to celebrities?
At their official sites, there's sometimes a contact e-mail address, but these e-mails are usually dealt with by paid staff, and the celebrity never gets to hear of it.
I'm sure that a lot of them would endorse this initiative if only they knew of it.

Having said that, I don't want to turn this thing into a media-minded circus with megastars who are using it for PR purposes.
But there are a few celebrities about whom I think we could all agree about their integrity and honesty, who could slip a quiet word into their concerts (if musicians) and interviews, to make people start thinking about the idea.

I don't like the fact that the word of a rockstar counts for more with some people than the word of a nurse (for example). But it IS a fact, and we should consider taking advantage of it...

Isn't this web-site all about using the media for Peace?
