Hi!
I'm so glad to find this group! I was worried for 1/2 second that on clicking "join", I'd get the message: "You must be vetted by the group founder to become a member." (This happened with the "hippy" group!)

There can be no real peace until all exploitation has been ended. and that will never happen under authoritarianism.

I invite you all (especially those of you who have children) to read my anti-authoritarian, feminist re-workings of traditional fairy tales, Jimm's Fairy Tales. In them, I try to present the same stories from a different point of view. It is my belief that if every child grew up learning that there are at least two sides to every story, and that "The Other" has a point of view that ought to be taken into account, there would be much less conflict in this World.

"Let America Be America Again" is a poem by Langston Hughes (February 1, 1902 – May 22, 1967), an American poet, novelist, playwright, short story writer, and columnist. Hughes is known for his work during the Harlem Renaissance
It speaks of the American dream that never existed for the lower-class American. It also talks about the freedom and equality that every immigrant hoped for but never achieved. In his poem, Hughes represents not only African Americans, but other minorities as well. Besides criticizing the unfair life in America, the poem conveys a sense of hope that the American Dream is soon to come.

It was used by United States senator John Kerry as one of his campaign slogan in his 2004 presidential campaign..


Let America be America again.
Let it be the dream it used to be.
Let it be the pioneer on the plain
Seeking a home where he himself is free.

(America never was America to me.)

Let America be the dream the dreamers dreamed--
Let it be that great strong land of love
Where never kings connive nor tyrants scheme
That any man be crushed by one above.

Is crowned with no false patriotic wreath,

Anarchism is a form of libertarian socialism. Types of libertarian socialism include (but aren't limited to) Anarcho Communism, Autonomism, Anarcho Syndicalism, Collectivist Anarchism, Council Communism, Libertarian Marxism, etc.

STOP CHAOS, STOP EXPLOITATION, STOP OPPRESSION, STOP INEQUALITY!

It's IMPOSSIBLE to be equal when there is authority, for authority has more power than you -- we must all be treated equally.
