2009 Gaia Peace Festival
What if there were all these things happening all over planet earth on the same day to do just one thing: Be Happy?
This is the vision of the Gaia Peace Festival!
Local events planned and organized by those who are creating an event that is something they do from their heart to make themselves happy. Whether its a poetry reading at a local coffee house, a massive fire rave on The Big Island, a DJ Spin-off at a hot club, a hula-hooping conference, a peace march to end the conflict in Gaza, a fundraiser to help those in Darfur, a lecture on the impact of GMO soy products, a night of popcorn and movies with your family and friends, or a love parade . . . no matter how big or small -- that which defines individual happiness is as unique as the individual.
Joining them together is the effort of the Gaia Peace Festival. United only in connection through the intention of "Happiness" and knowledge of being a part of something that together is greater than the sum of its parts!
