Hi Everyone..

This topic is intended to help us share our greatest visions about human potential and how we want the world to be in the future. It may not always be easy to be optimistic...but let's see how much we can inspire each other. When you envision the grandest possible future for all people, and the world..what does it look like?

Since we are always evolving, your ideas may change, or you may have new visions....

feel free to share more as you grow :)

- But they generally grow up ...
- Even children can be very cruel to each other, and to animals, and to adults... Education is also a must.
get muslims to stop doing crazy pointless shit.
wow. really mature.
That humans become more like the Trees....a reciprocal relationship with our surroundings.....rather than being devoiders of Earth.... Is that a good vision? We hope so....peace.....
I was thinking about that recently ;-)
Every choice in life comes down to only two options... love and fear. If we choose fear, we hate, we devour, we attack, we kill, we take, we become the slaves of greed. If we choose love, we cherish, we nurture, we protect, we heal, we give, we become free. There is an old Native American saying that says that inside each of us lives two wolves, one bad and one good. The two wolves are constantly fighting to control your life, but it is up to each of us to decide which wolf will win. Each time we choose the good wolf, he becomes stronger, and each time we choose the bad wolf he becomes stronger. Choose love...just one time. The next time it will be easier to choose love again. Keep choosing love and it will spread to others. Don't worry about the government. Don't worry about ridicule by others. Don't worry about being robbed, cheeted, abandoned or betrayed. When others choose feer, don't let their feer become yours. Choose love in the face of danger. By doing this, love will become stronger, not only in our selves, but also in the world around us, and fear will become weeker and weeker. If you live in a city, find a homeless person on the street. Don't give them loose change. Take them out to dinner. Spend time with them. Listen to their story. Have the courage to let them into your life... into your heart. Be their friend. Know their name! If you live in the country, plant a tree, and keep going back to that tree to make sure it has enough water, or find an animal wounded by hunters, and give it a home. No matter where you live, find someone who needs you. Do everything you can to help them. I guarantee you will soon find out how much you needed them all along. We are all in this together. We must heal eachother. Choose love, and just keep doing it.
It took one woman who refused to go to the back of the bus to start the civil rights movement. It took one shot heard round the world to start the age of revolution. It took one daydreaming patent office worker to come up with the theory of relativity, and completely change all our technology. It took one runnaway slave to ask a Quaker lawyer for help, to start the underground rail road. It took the dream of one skinny passivist to free India from British rule. Who knows if your one act of kindness will not be the one that starts the chain reaction, that spreads around the world, and reverberates accross the generations?
Thank you for your beautiful words and reminders, David. I love that saying/story about the wolves... and when it was asked which wolf wins, the answer was "The one you feed". It's also so true that each of us has the power to change the world for the better.... when we see that within ourselves, we can see it in others, and the potential of our unity is revealed...
Thanks for puting in that "The one you feed" part Yaron. Somehow I forgot to put that in there. And thanks for starting this discussion.
Never been a true victim when you loved ? You are not alone, it's interaction.
Yaron,
Humanity becoming aware of the gift of life and how we possess three great gifts of intelligence, emotional and spiritual quotients. These gifts, when balanced give great understanding of truth to the individual and they see the reality of themselves, others and the World as a whole. Great insight is developed to help others become peacemakers and so our hope is that we can go forward into the great light of understanding where spiritual riches will develop and build a world beyond our wildest dreams.
