As you may know, activists from the 'Occupy Wall Street' movement took to the streets in NYC on September 17th, in an effort to create dialogue about economic inequality and to inspire change. At the moment, hundreds of activists are still there (9/30/11 UPDATE: There are about 5000 activists there now!), despite many having been arrested. Plans for similar demonstrations across the country are manifesting (see http://occupytogether.org/).
What are Your thoughts about this movement?
The challenge to Wall street is essential. The Bankers who caused all the problems are now ADVISING the President in both Houses. Dearie Me...I do hope he is not too cowardly to tell them to go take a hike and everyone in you government who is honest can force a legislation change to return the law which prevents them using your money to make risky investments on thin air. It is important that money is related to something other than the imaginations of the greediest men on the planet. The WHOLE WORLD needs America to sort their Bankers out.
The Banker's Song is in this link.
'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. 'Thomas Jefferson 1802
We all need to stand up and take action. Our money is not being controlled the way that we believe it is, the banking industry is truly run by very few- and they pull the strings of all the other executives and our own government. Who pays the price for this? The average man and woman.
We need Disclosure now!
I am so glad to see people bringing this grossly unjust and anti Christian travesty into the spot light? At the same time I feel guilty and disappointed in myself. In that I can not economical afford to travel to participate. Although I do not think I could myself remain peaceful when attacked unprovoked by this corrupt and disgraceful police force.
I admire the ultra brave and patriotic men and women who are representing the rest of us in this cause. I consider them much braver than our troops over seas. In that they do not get the recognition and support of the entire country for their patriotism.
For what it is worth you have my appreciation and gratitude.
I am so proud that my fellow patriotic Americans are out there standing up for what is right. Standing up in the face of police brutality and force. Watching one might think we were viewing scenes from Syria.
You are all so brave. And I am so very proud of you all. God bless you
