Greetings Yaron:

I applaud your efforts. How do we plan to market this site? and how can we build it. Good questions. What is an answer. Let me be blunt. whomever comes forth - myself included , will have a bias as to how we might move forward.

I think one has to be very careful - and develop a program for peace, that enlists those that are like minded towards peace. I am a peace educator and have watched the Peace Education movement struggle over the past ten years. The main obstacle always is budgetary constraints. Secondary is attachment to an ideology, and thirdly an attachment to a particular outcome. again - myself included.

I am currently organizing a presentation to take place in Malaysia on October 30th intended to bring a concept for peace education forward - and again i plead guilty to having a bias. Part of my presentation is a Report on tan event of this October 24 - a 24 hour world drumming event - to awaken compassion in the creative city - this event is intended to identify a "peace strategy" which includes many aspects of what peace ought to include - a thinking paradigm = holistic thinking
a game plan - an event to focus on, educational tools - a brand for Peace for corporations that behave in a corporate socially responsible manner. funding mechanisms, all these ideas are developed and thought out - but frankly too much for any one to immediately grasp and own for themselves - and that is unfortunate. my activity will be seen as biased. Team ownership is offered for all.

so what is needed for mypeace.tv is to develop some common core concepts - some specific events, a criteria for admitance ot the program, and some funding mechanisms to ensure sustainability.

how does one establish these guidelines? certainly a difficult process. I will put forth my work on www.homeplanet.org as a starting point - let others put forth their work and let us as a team decide how best to move forward.

In the meantime, I will continue my presentation and report for Malaysia, and my minimal efforts to make the October 24 World Drumming to have some measure of reality beyond words.

Thank you so much for your feedback Mitch. I invite you to create a MyPeace.TV group for HomePlanet, as a way to promote your work and to network with like-minded individuals. This will also spread the word about MyPeace.TV and our growing network of peace media pioneers. I do agree with you about creating some events... What do you think about us putting together some live MyPeace.TV music events? This is in our future plans. Do you know anyone who's documenting the world drumming day? I'd like to post some good footage of that on here.
